We developed our own handmade process where the solid gold or silver metal actually shines through your photos, making it look like the heirloom that it is. Little Locket
This is a classic style of locket - two photos inside with a hinge to open and close the locket.
One side of the locket is matte, and the other a shiny finish so you can wear it either direction to change up your look.

This style doesn't close - your pretty photo to be seen while wearing unless you flip it around to have the photo facing your chest and show the pretty metal blank instead.

Lockets are made in solid 14k gold or sterling silver, which means they will never need any upkeep or redipping! Chains are gold-filled or solid sterling silver, because these metals are stronger to resist breaking. Definitely not to only be worn for special occasions, we want it to be something you feel comfortable with wearing every day. Life happens, so if you ever break your gold filled or sterling silver chain, the chain is easy and affordable to replace (just reach out if that ever happens and we'll fix it for you) and your solid gold or silver locket will last forever. Highest quality materials are used so that this locket can be something you'll wear every day for a lifetime, and then pass on to your granddaughter.
Neither! This is the first and only locket where the metal shines through the image, making it look like the luxury heirloom that it is. Most lockets you have to put your own paper photos inside. Or if another locket advertises being printed onto metal, it's just the photo printed on top of metal which has a bright cheesy look to it. With ours it's different because your picture becomes part of the metal itself, which gives it that heirloom quality look.

Yes! Obviously you have no plans to take it off, which means you're going to need to shower with it on... and that is perfectly fine! Unlike lockets with paper photos inside, this one won't be damaged by water!
I'm often asked and YES old vintage photos turn out beautifully in the lockets! Quick selfies from your iPhone turn out beautifully! Black and white photos turn out beautifully!
Keep in mind that the lockets are 14mm and the photos are 12mm. This is very small, so I don't recommend doing group photos inside. The picture is transferred onto the metal itself, which means it won't look the same as regular printing. Think of these as holding the memories of your favorite photos, which have been turned into jewelry. The metal will shine through the lighter parts of the image. So avoid using heavily edited or bright washed out photos because those may not show enough detail. Please send the full photo (not cropped) which gives us the room to crop it the way that will fit best.
Yes! Only one photo per Window Locket, but we can stack up to three Window Lockets per necklace.
Note if you want to stack: Just order multiple Window Lockets, leave a note during checkout telling us you want them stacked and use code PHOTOSTACK during checkout to take off the cost of the chain since they'll be on the same necklace.
Lockets are made at my favorite length of 16 inch chain + 4 inch extender (so it can be worn as short as 16 inches or as long as 20 inches) but we are happy to customize the chain length to a different length if requested. If you want the length customized just leave a note during checkout letting us know exactly how many inches you would like it to be.
I'm the pickiest ever when it comes to jewelry, so I've thought through every single thing. The locket is fixed to the chain, so the clasp will never fall forward. Adjustable chain length so you can wear it short or long for different shirt necklines. The standard locket has a matte texture on one side, and mirror shiny finish on the other - so you can wear it either direction to change up the look. The window locket can be worn with the photos facing out or toward your chest - beautiful either direction. Actually handmade, and you'll be able to feel it in all the perfect little details.

Yes, feel free to ship straight to whoever you are gifting it to. We do not include invoices, and every order is packaged beautifully to be suitable for gifting. We will handwrite a message from you to include in the package if you request this in a note during checkout.
