Hi friend, my name is Kelsey. Thank you for shopping small and supporting my family. I'm a momma & maker of your jewelry, and I have a passion for stories.

I created Little Sycamore because I care about your story and want you to be able to tell it in a beautiful way.

My passion for stories began with a love of story-telling country music as a child, and deepened during my time in nursing school where my favorite part was listening to patients talk about their lives and sweetest memories. Later, I lived in Romania and fell in love with 7 little kids in an orphanage. When I had to leave them and return home, I realized how difficult it felt not having anything physical to hold onto that connected me to that love and my story with them.

Today, after more than 15 years as a jewelry artist, what I love most about my company is the stories these pieces tell. Jewelry that gives our memories something physical to hold on to, represents meanings most precious to us, and honors our loved ones.

I have a sister who lost 3 precious babies. I made her a Mothers Ring with angel stones for each of them alongside her & her husband's birthstones.

It felt healing for me to wear my Angel Baby Necklace after my own miscarriage, and during the birth of rainbow baby twin girls.

I have a friend going through a divorce, who chose a ring to be made with stones that represent growth and self confidence.

I have a mother who misses her sweet parents and wears a locket with their picture inside.

Through Little Sycamore, these kinds of stories can be held onto in really meaningful & beautiful ways.

A little bit about our team of amazing makers.

As my company grew and I could no longer do every step on my own, I had a choice to make. Most brands similar to mine have had to step away from handmade and stay profitable by ordering from factories in China. But we decided to do something risky and instead hire a team of talented women to help me make this jewelry - and I am so glad that was the route we took. The amazing women on this team make Little Sycamore what it is. Every piece of jewelry passes through many hardworking hands, through many meticulous steps, carefully crafted in our own homes. And I bet you'll be able to feel that love when you open a package from us.
