Terms of Use
Last updated: December 31, 2025
Welcome to Little Sycamore! These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Little Sycamore LLC ("Little Sycamore," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website at www.littlesycamore.com (the "Site") or purchasing any of our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree to these Terms, please don't use our Site or purchase our products.
We've tried to keep these Terms as straightforward and readable as possible while still covering the legal bases we need to cover. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at hello@littlesycamore.com.
1. Who Can Use Our Site
Our Site is not intended for children. You must be at least 18 years old to use our Site or make purchases. If you're under 18, you can browse with a parent or guardian's supervision, and they must agree to these Terms on your behalf before any purchases are made.
By using our Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old (or have parental/guardian consent) and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Your Account
When you create an account with us, you're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Please let us know right away if you think someone else is using your account without permission.
We reserve the right to disable any account at any time if we believe you've violated these Terms or if your account poses a security risk.
3. Our Products
We put our hearts into creating beautiful, handmade jewelry. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Handmade means unique: Because our jewelry is handmade with natural stones, each piece is one-of-a-kind. Colors, shapes, and sizes will vary from photos. That's part of what makes them special!
- Accuracy: We do our best to display our products accurately, but we can't guarantee that your device's display will show colors perfectly.
- Availability: Products are available while supplies last. Because many of our items are handmade in limited quantities, once something sells out, it may not come back.
- Pricing: We reserve the right to change prices at any time. We don't do sales or coupon codes—we price things as low as we can from the start so you always get the best price.
4. Placing Orders
When you place an order, you're making an offer to purchase. We'll confirm your order via email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including if a product is mispriced, out of stock, or if we suspect fraud.
By placing an order, you represent that all information you provide (name, address, payment info) is accurate and complete.
5. Payment
We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. All payments are processed securely through Shopify's payment system. We don't store your credit card information on our servers.
Prices are listed in US dollars unless otherwise noted. You're responsible for any applicable sales tax, customs duties, or import fees for international orders.
6. Shipping
We ship to addresses within the United States and internationally. Shipping times and costs vary depending on your location and the shipping method you choose.
- Processing time: Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days, though handmade items may take longer.
- Shipping carriers: Once shipped, your package is in the hands of the carrier. We're not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or weather.
- International orders: Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We're not responsible for delays due to customs.
- Lost packages: Once we hand your package to the carrier, we can't control what happens to it. Please contact the carrier first if your package appears lost. We'll do what we can to help, but we can't guarantee replacement of lost packages.

IN NO EVENT WILL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Little Sycamore LLC and its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of our Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
15. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
We hope we never have a dispute, but if we do, let's try to work it out together first. Please contact us at hello@littlesycamore.com before taking any formal legal action.
Binding Arbitration
If we can't resolve a dispute informally, you and Little Sycamore agree to resolve any claims through final and binding arbitration, rather than in court. This includes claims arising out of or relating to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, or your use of our Site or products.
Arbitration will be conducted by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures. The arbitration will take place in San Diego County, California, unless we agree otherwise. The arbitrator's decision will be final and binding, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class Action Waiver
YOU AND LITTLE SYCAMORE AGREE THAT ANY CLAIMS WILL BE BROUGHT ONLY IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
Exceptions
Either party may bring claims in small claims court if they qualify. Either party may also seek injunctive relief in court for infringement of intellectual property rights.
Opt-Out
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to hello@littlesycamore.comwithin 30 days of your first use of our Site. If you opt out, you and Little Sycamore may pursue claims in court.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. If arbitration doesn't apply or you've opted out, you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in San Diego County, California for any legal proceedings.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Your continued use of our Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree to the changes, please stop using our Site.
