Four levels... The top holds all your rings and stud earrings. The middle drawers have a total of 24 little compartments, and 5 other various sized larger compartments. These little compartments are the only way to avoid necklace chains from tangling. Because each necklace gets its own little spot, you won't have to deal with tangled necklace chains ever again! The bottom level is empty space. This bottom level is perfect for holding larger pieces of jewelry and your jewelry polishing cloth. Or if you're a jewelry hoarder and have more pieces than will fit the case, buy little 1 inch plastic baggies off amazon to put each piece in and store all your extra jewelry in this empty bottom level.
