Crystal Drop Necklace • Quartz, the stone for April and Angels
With forming two crystals, it takes twice as long for me to create these- so think of this as buying two necklaces to layer with! A gorgeous Quartz crystal, with a smaller one dropping below it. The solid sterling silver, gold or rose gold filled necklace is 16 inches with a 1.5 inch extender on the end. This gorgeous chain is very high quality, comfortable to wear, and made with soldered links to prevent breaking. The high quality chain can be worn constantly and while showering. Everything is lead & nickel free.
*note: Per customer request, I recently shortened the length of the second drop to make it so that the lower stone doesn't drop in an awkward cleavage spot. It now falls as shown in the photos with the models.
The process: I attach the crystals with the prettiest angle facing forward, then sand the mounting to get the shape I want. The necklace then goes through a really neat process called electroforming, where pure copper deposits onto the crystals for about 12 hours. After tumbling, hand polishing, and plating in the thickest possible layer of nickel-free rose gold, the pendants are finally complete! I then carefully secure each crystal onto the prettiest, softest, highest quality chain I have found. Long story short... a whole lot of time and love is put into this little beauty!
