Amethyst is the stone for meditation, promoting happiness and spiritual awareness. With the beautiful things that this stone represents- I hope that when you look down at this statement ring, you can be reminded to just take a second, breathe, and be present in the moment. Each ring is handmade using raw, natural crystals. They were naturally formed in these large clusters, and these rings are definitely a bigger statement piece. I use smaller stones for smaller ring sizes, and bigger sizes for bigger ring sizes; so that it is always a statement piece, but proportional to the size of your finger. The beauty of using naturally formed crystals is that every ring is perfectly unique.

All Little Sycamore jewelry is lead & nickel free. These rings are formed in pure copper and plated in the thickest possible plating of sterling silver. The plating is many microns thick, much thicker than typical plated jewelry.
The process: I start out with a handmade hammered band, which gives the ring a lot of pretty texture. I spend a lot of time arranging the stones onto the band, hand-picking the prettiest stones I want to use and finding the positioning that I think looks best with those stones. After finding the perfect design, the mounting is shaped and sanded to get the prettiest shape, and the ring is carefully painted with conductive paint. Using an electric current, metal deposits onto the ring and around the base of the stones for 12+ hours. This slow build up of metal creates a unique and organic looking setting that very securely holds the stones in place. The ring is tumbled, hand-polished, and plated in a very thick layer of gorgeous silver. Long story short... a whole lot of time and love is put into this little beauty!
