Custom Multi Stone Earrings
Each pair of earrings is handmade using raw, natural crystals. The beauty of this is that every pair will turn out perfectly unique. These earrings can have whatever stones you would like. The stones are set on solid titanium earring posts & the metal surrounding the stones is plated in the thickest possible layer of rose gold, 18k gold, or silver. All Little Sycamore jewelry is lead & nickel free.
The process: I search through many stones, hand-selecting the ones that I think will be prettiest for these earrings. I give attention to set each stone so that the prettiest side is facing outward, and carefully paint the backs and edges of the stones with conductive paint. Using an electric current, sterling silver deposits onto the base of the stones for 20+ hours. This slow build up of metal creates a unique and organic looking setting that very securely holds the stones in place. The earrings are tumbled, hand-polished, and either left as is in solid sterling silver or plated in the thickest possible plating of gold or rose gold. Long story short... a whole lot of time and love is put into these little beauties!
